As I said in my last post, March 18-22 is graduation week. This was my sched:
March 18 – Grad Rehearsals from 8-12NN @ Ateneo HS
March 19 – Grad Music Rehearsals from 6-8PM @ College Chapel
March 20 – Blue Roast starting 7PM @ Bel Field
March 21 – SOH Minor Graduation from 4:30PM-6:30PM @ Leong Hall // General Grad Music Rehearsals from 6-10PM @ Ateneo HS Cov Courts
March 22 – Baccalaureate Mass & Commencement Address by Cardinal Tagle from 6AM-10AM // SOH/SOSS Graduation at 4PM @ Ateneo HS
Whew! What a week right? What I’d do to repeat that week again. It was a great way to end my college life 🙂 I’ll make a separate post about March 22 as this would be a really long one if I compiled all.
Blue Roast is an annual party for the seniors in school. It’s also when the infamous “blue rose” is given to a special someone, may it be your first crush in Ateneo, favorite prof, special someone, etc. SPIT, She’s Only Sixteen and Spongecola were invited to perform, a few games were held, and the Blue Roast Awards. It was a good night I spent with the usuals aka GC seniors.
ACGC Seniors 🙂 (L-R: Luigi, Yorro, Gorby, me, Liz, Dom, Miggi)
Spanish buds/blockmates, Krishia and Carl!
From HS to college: Kara, Roman and Ian 🙂
SOH Minor Graduation
I minored in Hispanic Studies (I wish I minored in French or German too!) and we had a separate graduation for it in Leong Hall. Even if Spanish wasn’t always nice to me, I’ve grown to love its culture, its accent, its country.. It’s a dream of mine to be able to speak it fluently. If only there were more people to practice it with. But I plan on taking a job that requires me to use it so I won’t forget it — crossing my fingers I find one soon! #freshgradproblems
My (tall and) fashionable chicas who took español too
Dom took a minor in German Studies and Miggi took a minor in Music Lit!
Liz and Gorby went to support the three of us. With Sir Coo from the IS Dept!
Posting about the 22nd next!
